Rebecca Finkel got into book design by drawing the short straw. That was over 20 years ago. Since then she has open her own design studio and focuses her talent on award-winning book design. Since moving to Colorado from New York City, she has worked on numerous book projects including several of John Fielder’s titles.

During her career as a book designer she has been yelled at by Lance Armstrong; sued by Pete Slosberg (of Pete’s Wicked Ale); and worked with environmentalist Terry Tempest Williams. She lectures at the Denver University Publishing Institute on book design and production.
